The Green Monster Farm
The Green Monster Farm was officially incorporated in May 2024, though its roots began in September 2021 when founder Toni Ichikawa moved to farmland along the hilltops of Kaukonahua Road. There, she encountered a small flock left behind—and one remarkable Ameraucana hen named Betsy, who laid a single green egg beside her toolbox each day. That quiet daily ritual became the beginning of the farm.
Today, The Green Monster Farm operates on certified organic land in Mokulēʻia, producing 200 to 250 dozen eggs weekly, expanding to new pasture land in Haliewa.

We believe in knowing your farmer. Transparency is central to everything we do—from what we feed our chickens to how we grow our vegetables, fruits, and herbs.
Guided by the principles of Korean Natural Farming, we focus on working in harmony with local ecosystems. Alongside USDA organic feed, a portion of our hens’ diet is thoughtfully supplemented with locally sourced, fresh produce, made possible through strong support from our local community and businesses. This approach helps close the loop, reduce waste, and lower our overall carbon footprint.
We live by a simple belief: you are what you eat, and what they eat matters too. Our hens—our “ladies”—are nourished daily with clean, natural feed that reflects that philosophy.
With the addition of a new flock of 300 hens, production will expand by February 2026 to 200 to 250 dozen eggs weekly, while maintaining the same standards of care, transparency, and quality.

We are located in beautiful North Shore, by Kaena Point in a organic farm development. We aspire to work with local small business who care about the sustainability and organic practice.
Our pretty colorful pasture raise fresh farm eggs are served daily at Mele Mele Cafe in Waialua Sugar mill, and Country Eatery in Kahuku.
