What We Offer
There’s a Japanese saying, “rui wa rui o yobu” (類は類を呼ぶ)—like attracts like. We’re naturally drawn to people who share our passions, and we’re proud to collaborate with chefs and farmers who do just that.
Chef Andreas Bravo
Chef Andreas Bravo is a dynamic and innovative culinary artist of Chilean descent, born in Northern California. With a passion for cooking that began in his youth, he honed his skills at the prestigious California Culinary Academy.
Seeking to expand his culinary horizons, Chef Bravo spent five transformative years in Spain, where he worked under a renowned Basque chef at his three-Michelin-star restaurant. This experience enriched his culinary expertise and deepened his appreciation for the art of fine dining.
Upon returning to the United States, Chef Bravo embraced the vibrant culinary scene of Oahu, where he trained and worked for three years at a renowned sushi bar. This experience not only refined his techniques but also deepened his love for fresh, high-quality ingredients. Following his time in Oahu, he transitioned to manage a high-end catering company for three years, further mastering the art of creating exquisite culinary experiences.
Driven by his vision to combine the best of both Mediterranean and Asian influences using fresh, local ingredients, Chef Bravo launched his own private chef company. Currently based in Waialua, he operates a state-of-the-art chef’s kitchen where he hosts exclusive private dinners, cultivates his own produce, and shares his culinary expertise with his clients.
Beyond his culinary endeavors, Chef Bravo is dedicated to giving back to the community. As the founder and director of The Hānai Collective, he works tirelessly to feed the houseless population in his area, ensuring access to nutritious meals and support. Chef Andres Bravo’s journey reflects his dedication not only to the culinary arts but also to making a positive impact in his community.
